People who know me well know that I enjoy reading books. I feel that in this field, as with any field, you have to spend the time to get familiar with what's happening in the industry. I created this page in order to give my opinion (read "biased") of what has impressed me most in my career and which I would like to recommend to others.

Microsoft .Net
Applied Microsoft .NET Framework Programming
by Jeffrey Richter (of Wintellect)
This is one of the best, if not the best, resource on the foundations of .Net programming. Apart from the Microsoft .Net SDK itself (found in the MSDN Library documenation), this is a great resource to get you started on learning the fundamentals of this new programming environment. (NOTE: Source code/examples are written in C#. There is also a VB.Net version: Applied Microsoft .NET Framework Programming in Microsoft Visual Basic .NET).
